Cabin Safety & Certification Engineer

The opportunity

Evolve Partners is recruiting a Cabin Safety & Certification Engineer for an established organisation within the aviation sector.

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to aircraft cabin modification and certification projects, ensuring that engineering designs and technical changes meet applicable safety and airworthiness requirements.

The successful candidate will work alongside specialist engineering teams, supporting compliance verification, technical documentation and the certification of aircraft cabin systems and interiors.

The role

• Support the certification and compliance assessment of aircraft cabin modifications.
• Review engineering designs and technical documentation against applicable airworthiness standards.
• Contribute to compliance demonstration activities under relevant EASA Part 21 requirements.
• Assess cabin interiors, equipment installations and associated aircraft modifications.
• Prepare and review certification documentation, compliance reports and technical substantiation.
• Liaise with engineering teams and relevant technical stakeholders to resolve compliance issues.
• Support the maintenance of robust design assurance and certification processes.

What they're looking for

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in aircraft cabin safety, certification or airworthiness engineering.
• Working knowledge of EASA Part 21 and CS-25 certification requirements.
• Familiarity with aircraft cabin interiors, modifications and associated compliance activities.
• Experience preparing or reviewing technical certification documentation.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience within an approved Design Organisation, particularly involving compliance verification or aircraft modification projects, would be advantageous.
