Engineering & Infrastructure

Infrastructure programmes in the UK and the Gulf are funded and moving. What holds them back is experienced engineering leadership. I started my career placing engineers on airports, hospitals and towers in Dubai, and I still recruit the people these programmes depend on.

Roles I place

  • Project and Programme Directors
  • Engineering Managers
  • Structural and Civil Engineers
  • MEP Managers
  • Technical Directors
  • Commercial and Bid leads

Evolve has been appointed to support a global engineering business on a mission-critical, multi-billion-dollar programme in a new and developing location. The project is still in tender, but getting there meant working with senior and C-suite stakeholders from the outset.

What this means for a senior hire

Start early, because the people you want are already on live projects. In Saudi Arabia, look for leaders who can build and develop local teams, not just deliver. Giga-project contract awards reached US$196 billion in 2025, up 20% on 2024.
