Permanent Recruitment
For senior and specialist permanent roles below board level, I run the same disciplined process as a search, sized to the role. You deal with me throughout, and I only put forward people I would hire myself.
Who it’s for
Hiring managers, heads of function and HR leaders in established mid-sized to international organisations who need a senior or specialist hire that their own network and job adverts haven’t produced.
How it runs
The same four steps, done properly.
Understand the brief
A briefing call to understand the role and the business problem behind it, not just the job description.
Search the market
A targeted search across the market, with direct approaches to strong people who are not actively looking.
Assess and shortlist
Screening and interviews, with a short, considered shortlist rather than a pile of CVs.
Advise and close
Interview coordination, feedback in both directions, offer negotiation and support through the notice period.
Typical roles
An example
An international business brought me in to a sector I had never recruited in before. I learned how their model worked and where the commercial risks in their hiring sat, then filled several positions across different countries, currencies and time zones. The relationship reached the point where their US chief executive asked to speak to me to understand how the work had been delivered so effectively by one person.
What you get
- A clear view of what the market looks like for the role
- A shortlist assessed against the brief, not just the CV
- Honest feedback in both directions
- Support through offer, notice period and start date
