Design Office Manager – Aerospace Engineering

The opportunity

Evolve Partners is supporting an established organisation in the aviation sector with the appointment of an experienced engineering leader to oversee design, certification and technical compliance activities.

This position offers the opportunity to lead a specialist technical function, maintain robust engineering standards and support the delivery of complex aircraft-related projects.

The role

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and design activities.
• Oversee technical compliance, certification and engineering documentation.
• Support design approval processes and the management of regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance and oversight to engineering teams.
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external technical partners.
• Maintain appropriate engineering governance, quality and assurance standards.

What they're looking for

I am interested in speaking with experienced aerospace engineering professionals who offer:

• Significant experience in aircraft design, modification or certification.
• Strong knowledge of EASA Part 21 and relevant airworthiness requirements.
• Previous leadership experience within an aerospace engineering or design environment.
• Familiarity with Design Organisation approval processes and technical compliance.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills.
• Experience within an approved Design Organisation would be particularly relevant.
