Electrical Engineer – Mission-Critical Projects

The opportunity

I am recruiting an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the delivery of a major mission-critical construction project in London.

This opportunity would suit an engineer with a strong background in electrical building services, major construction or technically demanding infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, design and construction teams to ensure electrical systems are coordinated, installed, tested and delivered to the required standards.

The role

• Coordinate electrical engineering activities throughout project delivery.
• Support the installation and technical delivery of major electrical systems.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, design information and engineering submissions.
• Work closely with construction managers, subcontractors and specialist suppliers.
• Identify and resolve technical and installation issues.
• Support quality inspections, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements and quality standards.

What they're looking for

• Proven experience in electrical engineering within construction or major infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of LV/MV electrical distribution and associated building services.
• Experience coordinating contractors and resolving technical challenges on site.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in mission-critical or similarly complex environments would be advantageous.
